Recently, we conducted a survey of nearly 1,000 of our CrohnsHelp.com subscribers and had a little over 130 respondents. The survey’s purpose was to learn more about the severity and general patterns of Crohn’s disease in the Crohn’s community.
Please note that this study is not complete and that there are many variables that go into play. However, some of the findings are very interesting.
Summation of Research
Some of the interesting findings (find all results below):
- Over 45% said to have been to the hospital more than 4 times because of Crohn’s Disease.
- Over 37% said that they have more than 4 flare-up attacks a year.
- Over 50% said to have had surgery because of Crohn’s Disease.
